Jamie has been a resident of Arden Park North for over four years and currently serves as President of the HOA Board. With a professional background in software and infrastructure engineering, along with hands-on experience in contracting and mechanical work, he brings a combination of technical expertise, practical problem-solving, and project management experience to community leadership.

Jamie has served on the APN Board since early 2024, initially holding the roles of Treasurer and Secretary before becoming President in July 2025. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on financial responsibility, transparency, operational improvements, and strengthening collaboration between residents, committees, management, and the Board.

One of the most significant accomplishments during his presidency was the successful separation of Arden Park North and Arden Park South. Working alongside fellow Board members, residents, and community volunteers, including Eva and Colin, Jamie helped advance this major initiative, giving Arden Park North greater independence in its governance and decision-making.

During 2025 and 2026, Jamie has helped guide numerous community improvements, including modernization of gate and access-control systems, restoration of the main visitor entrance, repairs to approximately 800 feet of fencing along Lake Sims, neighborhood park improvements, new lake and wildlife safety signage, and restoration of clubhouse and pool walkway lighting. Additional initiatives include pool equipment improvements, the ongoing lake-path bridge project, and efforts to resolve long-standing property and infrastructure issues.

Jamie has also emphasized responsible spending and stronger vendor accountability. Recent efforts include improvements to community management, partnerships with local service providers, and completion of the pool equipment shade project for approximately $5,250 against a $15,000 budget. He continues to support resident-led initiatives and the Pool Advisory, Technical, and Wetlands Committees, recognizing the value of professional expertise and community involvement.

Beyond physical improvements, Jamie has supported modernization of APN's technology and communications, including the transition to ButterflyMX access systems and development of the community website, www.apnocoee.com, to improve access to Board information, meetings, events, and community resources.

Looking ahead, Jamie remains focused on completing outstanding projects, addressing aging infrastructure, maintaining sound financial planning, and improving the overall quality of life within Arden Park North. He believes effective Board leadership requires listening to residents, asking difficult questions, making informed decisions, and following through on commitments. His goal is to help ensure APN remains a well-maintained, financially responsible, transparent, and resident-focused community.

Steve Rance has been a proud resident of Arden Park North for three years and currently serves as Vice President of the HomeownersAssociation Board of Directors.

Steve brings a distinguished background in executive management, business administration, government leadership, military service, and community involvement. As a retired United States Air Force veteran with 20 years of military service, a former elected county councilman, and an experienced government administrator, he offers valuable expertise in organizational management, fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, and effective decision-making.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Steve serves as a Life Group Pastor through First Baptist Orlando, where he is actively involved in spiritual leadership, mentoring, and serving individuals and families. His pastoral experience further strengthens his commitment to compassionate leadership, effective communication, conflict resolution, and building meaningful relationships within the community.

Throughout his career, Steve has demonstrated a strong commitment to integrity, accountability, teamwork, and service to others. His extensive experience in leadership, public administration, and ministry provides a solid foundation for addressing the operational and financial responsibilities of a homeowners association.

As Vice President, Steve remains actively involved in community improvements, infrastructure planning, property maintenance, and advocating for homeowners' concerns. He believes every property owner deserves fair representation, transparent communication, and a meaningful voice in decisions affecting their community and property values.

Steve is committed to working collaboratively with fellow board members, management, and residents to promote responsible financial stewardship, preserve property values, improve community amenities, and ensure Arden Park North remains a safe, welcoming, and desirable place to call home. His guiding philosophy is simple: Effective leadership is not about holding a title, but about serving others with integrity, accountability, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to representing every homeowner.

Lieutenant Colonel James Seiler retired from The Salvation Army on November 1, 2024, and took up residence in (Arden Park North) Ocoee, Florida in connection with this change. Seiler most recently served as the Secretary for Business Administration for The Salvation Army in the USA Southern Territory. In connection with this appointment, he served as the Treasurer of The Salvation Army, A Georgia Corporation. In his day-to-day activity, Seiler supervised eight departments at the headquarters: Legal, Information Technology, Finance, Investments, Property, Community Relations, Risk Management, and Supplies & Purchasing. Seiler served previously as the Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army North and South Carolina Division.

Seiler was commissioned as a Salvation Army officer in 1984. Seiler served as a Salvation Army officer for 40 years with appointments in local and administrative roles throughout Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Seiler served for
11 years in the Finance Department for The Salvation Army, including nine years in the Texas Division and two years at the Territorial Headquarters office in Atlanta. Prior to attending The Salvation Army’s School for Officer Training, Seiler earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Asbury University and his Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Kentucky.
Seiler is married to Lieutenant Colonel Karol Seiler, and they are parents of two sons: Bryan, who serves as Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel at Youth Guidance in Chicago and (Sergeant) Andrew, who serves as a Salvation Army leader working as the Divisional Secretary for Personnel in the Georgia Division. They have four grandchildren.
